ThijsTea!
You know from us that we only use materials that normally would be discarded or destroyed, but now our neighbors of ThijsTea have created a super nice concept to counter food waste! To give you an impression:
“ThijsTea is an iced tea brewed from biological tea and ‘spilled’ fruit. This is quality fruit and always fresh, but.. it would actually be disposed of, mainly because it’s thick, crooked or ugly.
Food waste is not okay! Approximately a third of all the food that’s being produced is wasted. It’s time to stop ignoring this humongous pile and to actually do something with it.
Next to this we’re almost out of stock with our current inventory, investors and consumers react in a positive way on our initiative and the summer is just around the corner.”
